Nothing puts a stamp on a beautiful day and set the mood for an unforgettable night better than a show stopping sunset. Being on Florida's Gulf Coast provides the perfect back drop, but these places provide the most unique setting to make sure every snap is Instagram worthy!

1. Fort de Soto Park

This historic fort is located in St. Petersburg and the park itself spans multiple small islands. It is a great camping location and you could waste the day away touring the fort and catching some rays. Not to mention it's pooch friendly and has designated areas for your furry friend to run on the beach.

2. Indian Rocks Beach

Indian Rocks Beach located in, you guessed it, Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, is a smaller beach with ample parking that is perfect for a quick snap of the settings sun.

3. Pier 60

Pier 60, located at 1 Causeway Blvd, Clearwater, Florida, is a hot-spot for sunset chasers. And it's easy to see why. The sunset there is spectacular. The Pier offers a great opportunity to see the golden hour reflected in every direction.

4. Caladesi Island State Park

This secluded park at the top of Bird Key is a relaxing place to spend the day by the waves. The park offers a lot to do from swimming, fishing to boating and hiking. There are plenty of ways to spend the day surrounded in nature. The park even offers boaters to spend the night on their boat in the marina. So whether you're watching the sunset on land or in the sea, the view is guaranteed to be serene.

5. Dunedin Causeway

The Dunedin Causeway is a great place to view the sunset! The causeway allows for the perfect place to see the sun drop in the Hurricane Pass. It is a local favorite and a real party atmosphere with cars lined up on either side blasting music and enjoying the show every night.

6. Honeymoon Island State Park

This state park located in Dunedin has some of the best amenities offered in the Florida State Park system. There are miles of trails, and endless coves to enjoy the day and view the sunset from.

7. Palm Pavilion Beachside Grille and Bar

A perfect place for dinner and a view. The food is great and the drinks pair well with the live music that is often going on. This lifeguard station adds for the perfect shadow during the golden hour.
