The ladies of Beverly Hills are back for episode 6 and if you're in need of a quick summary on where we all stand with Erika Jayne, look no further than the words of Garcelle Beauvais: "You tell none of your friends you're getting divorced, show up to a party, and then ask everyone else what's going on." Back at Sutton’s “Paris” themed event, the women sit down around the table and Kyle Richards does a great impression of sister Kathy Hilton to get the group laughing. Kathy teaches the ladies the correct way to eat caviar, which is immediately after serving, apparently, before it becomes gluey. Lisa Rinna tries to see if Erika will talk about her divorce by asking how Tiago, Erika's dog, is doing. Erika announces she bought a new Range Rover and the room goes silent. She opens up about her divorce, letting go of her life, and shares she prepared for 30 days to blind side Tom Girardi with the divorce. We see Erika and her glam squad gathering racks of her clothes and Sutton Stracke confronting her about selling items on Vestaire. Erika admits to announcing her divorce on Election Day to hope the news would get buried by the election. In coded short hand that Kathy would approve of, Erika alludes to the other legal troubles that will also head her and Tom's way. Erika invites the women to her new house. She also admits to taking furniture from the house with her to her rental. Her lawyers are probably not thrilled with this declaration.
Dorit Kemsley and Kyle go Round 2. Kyle tries to show that she’s not the only one who thinks Dorit talks a lot and Garcelle adds that Dorit is long-winded. While Erika talks to Kathy about being the third wife to live in Tom’s house, we cut to Dorit and Kyle talking about Sutton and Crystal Minkoff. Dorit shares the version of Crystal's story (about Sutton walking in on her naked with the coat) to her and Kyle is shocked by the use of the term violated as she doesn’t think the version of events Crystal told her in Lake Tahoe match how Crystal described what had happened to Dorit. Kyle tells Dorit that it’s an uncomfortable situation and it’s wrong for Crystal to imply something sinister of it when there doesn’t need to be anything made out of it.
Garcelle meets with a dating coach. She breaks down over knowing she doesn’t trust someone to have her back in life the way she would have her own back.
Erika Jayne is at her new rental house. She's turning 2 out of her 4 bedrooms into closets. For the first time, Erika talks poorly of Tom in a confessional.
Kyle is taking Sutton to get a mammogram after discovering several weeks ago that Sutton hasn’t had one. Sutton cries, but her mammogram is healthy. At the mammogram, Kyle brings up that Dorit was talking about Coatgate. Kyle tells Sutton to nip this conversation in the bud.
Rinna and Erika go out for hot toddy’s. Erika tells Rinna she dropped Tom off at work with an "I love you", packed her stuff up, moved house, slept at her new house, and the next morning he was served with divorce papers.
Crystal hosts the ladies at her home to make dumplings. As usual, Garcelle shows up first to the party. When Dorit arrives we see the start of a budding friendship between Dorit and Crystal. Sutton comes in baring gifts. Erika and Rinna arrive together. Erika asks for another hot toddy and tells everyone she is high off THC oil that Kyle recommended that she spread on her genitals.
Crystal pulls Sutton aside to talk about how the other ladies are discussing Coatgate. Crystal talks as if she's oblivious to the fact that the other women are talking about it because Crystal keeps talking to them about it. She even goes as far as to remind Sutton that they agreed not to talk about it with anyone else. Sutton tells her, "I've held up my end of the deal." And we cut to footage of Crystal telling the other women about Coatgate. Sutton and Crystal agree to confront the group about it and squash it once and for all. (I think we can all agree that anymore talk of this would be beyond exhausting.) Dorit begins to defend Crystal and even misspeak a bit but a level-headed Sutton puts her in her place. (Seems like Kyle's Housewife lessons are paying off.) Sutton even goes as far as to defend herself against Crystal and calls her out for for using words like manic and crazy to describe her behavior from Lake Tahoe. She even sends back a passive aggressive turn of phrase to Crystal. The women make dumplings and stuff their faces. Kyle thinks her dumpling looks like Lisa Rinna's lips. Garcelle offers her dating coach to Erika, but Erika turns her down.
And that's it for this week's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!
