Robotic Sex: No Business Like Shade Business

The ladies of Salt Lake City are back! We open with Jen Shah, her no.1 & no.2 assistants, and her nephew hanging out in her closet. Her nephew commenting on how no one needs the amount of extravagance Jen has. Jen and her nephew share a tender moment as Jen pledges to be there for her family more.

Meredith Marks is on the phone with her son Brooks. Her husband comes in with the infamous crystal mesh mask from last season on his face. (RHOSLC love a call back.) Meredith shares that her marriage is in a better place than it was last season, where we saw her and Seth fight over their family not moving to Ohio with Seth's business. As it turns out, Seth's business has moved to Mississippi. They discuss Jen liking homophobic tweets about Brooks on Twitter.

Mary Cosby is meeting her cousin, Big Joe. According to Mary, Big Joe is the worst contractor but he's her contractor. Big Joe tells Mary that she gets her "touch" into the house, and the camera pans to a litany of figurines. Mary claims some design decisions were made while having menstrual cramps.

Jennie Nguyen and Lisa Barlow are on their way to introduce Jennie to Jen. Lisa bought them matching sewing machines and thought they could learn to sew, make matching pants, and wear them to lunch. Jennie used to be a wedding singer. Lisa tells Jen that she thinks there's a chance to make up with Meredith. Jen defends her actions of liking posts about Brooks. Jen begins to cry and ask, "Why is she always apologizing to everybody"? (If I recall correctly, it's because she's been a monster to her friends and family.)

Heather Gay meets with Whitney Rose to shop. Heather greets Whitney and asks "Why are they always dressed the same?" The producers highlight they are not at all dressed alike. Heather justifies her meeting with Jen to Whitney. Whitney reminds her that Jen is unpredictable and tells Heather she hopes that Jen can be a real friend to her.

Jennie is cooking dinner with her kids. Their heavy whipping cream is so spoiled it won't pour out the carton. Jennie's back story is that she opened a medical clinic and then expanded to 5 locations while having 3 kids to eventually sell everything to become a full-time mom. Her husband Duy wants to have more kids, and asks their youngest, Karlyn, if she wants a younger sibling. Karlyn says, no.

Whitney is introducing a chore chart into her home life. Whitney's business overperformed its goals for the month. Whitney's husband says he's worried their kids will be overlooked if Whitney tries to build her business into a billion dollar company. She then complains they're not having enough sex. In her confessional, she gives a demonstration as to what "robotic sex" looks like.

Heather meets Jen to hangout in an ice cave and talk out their friendship. Heather lists all the mean things Jen has said about her behind her back and calls her out on naming her a racist during "charged times". (Which I take to mean, Heather believes that by falsely claiming she is a racist, at a time while society publicly reflects on race and rejects bigotry, Jen has tried to smear her and ruin her reputation.) Jen defends herself by saying "she was hurt, too", and Heather begins to cry. Jen says Heather should come to her when she's doubting their friendship; and Heather brings up screenshots of mean things Jen has said online about her. Jen claims Heather only believes the worst. Jen cries and asks why no one thinks of her kids?; why is she held to a different standard than everyone else?; why does no one believe all the good stuff? Heather tells Jen that she believes the good stuff in her, that's why she is there to make amends. In her confessional, Heather says that Jen isn't treated differently because of the color of her skin, but because of her temper. And claims they walk on eggshells and treat her better because of her temper. Heather clarifies that she can rebuild trust with Jen, but that when people send her screenshots of the mean things Jen is saying that she can't just ignore that. And asks Jen to stop her behavior for them to move forward. Jen and Heather burn churros at their campfire and make peace.
