My favorite part of the holidays is baking! I usually start in mid-December and freeze cookies and dough to have a perfect assortment for every holiday party and even to give out as gifts. These 6 recipes are more go-to's to spread the holiday cheer I hope you enjoy!
Peppermint Hot Chocolate Cookies
These cookies I freeze and they keep very well! I use this recipe from Cooking Classy.
Iced Lemon Amish Cookies
I also freeze these cookies. Make sure to let the icing set before storing. I use The Gold Lining Girl's recipe, here.
Andes Mint Cookies
I freeze these cookies and use this recipe by Chocolate With Grace.
Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies
These were my favorite! So easy to make and fast. I recommend if you do freeze them, to put them in their own container because I combined them with the Andes and I felt like they had taken on some of that flavor. Very thankful for Just So Tasty's recipe, here.
Chocolate Vanilla Swirl Cookies
For these I froze the dough and baked the day of or the day before. I used this recipe by the Miss Petal.
Nutella Stuffed Cookies
These cookies were so good. I think about them every day. I used Jane's Patisserie recipe, here. They do take a long time to make because you have to freeze the Nutella and shape and chill the cookie dough.
Happy Holidays!
