It's that time of year when Florida celebrates the Holidays in the best way possible: ornate Christmas light directions! Spend the night driving around Palm Beach County for some of the best holiday decorations and displays. Make sure to stop by these bright and festive light showcases.
1. The Heights of Jupiter:
The Heights of Jupiter goes all out at Christmas time. Drive through to enjoy an amazing and massive light display put on by this neighborhood.
2. Hoffman's Chocolate Winter Wonderland:
Consisting of 120,000 lights, food trucks, an outdoor skating rink, and amazing chocolates, this charity supporting wonderland in Lake Worth is a great place to bring your kids on a night out.
3. Sandi:
Sandi is West Palm Beach's 35 ft crown jewel of a sand Christmas tree. Located on Clematis Street, which itself is decked out in lights, Sandi is a great place to bring your kids for the light show.
4. Jensen Beach Mansion:
This house at 4545 NE Ocean Blvd goes all out every year and is a must see when on Jensen Beach.
5. City Place:
Rosemary Square located in City Place is festively decorated this time of year, but the real draw is the snowfall the occurs on the hour from 6-8 PM.
6. Holiday Light Downtown at The Gardens:
Located at The Gardens, an open air shopping plaza (11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave, Palm Beach Gardens, FL), watch these 250,000 LED lights put on a show every hour from 6-9 PM.
7. Palm Beach Zoo:
Zoo Lights at the Palm Beach Zoo is both a great way to beat the heat and explore West Palm Beach's impressive zoo and enjoy light decorations! A great night out for both kids and adults, alike.
8. Jupiter Boat Parade:
Decorated boats light up the intercoastal from North Palm Beach to Jupiter, guided by a moving firework display. My favorite place to view is at U Tiki Beach ( 1095 N Hwy A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477 ).
9. Boca Raton Boat Parade:
Traveling down the Intercoastal from the Delray Beach-Boca Raton city limits to the Palm Beach-Broward County Line are tons of ornately lit up boats ranging from yachts to kayaks. A great place to view is at Red Reef Park or Silver Palm Park.
10. Boyton Beach Boat Parade:
These boats light up the intercoastal from the Boyton Beach Inlet to the C-15 Canal in Delray Beach. The Downtown Development Authority of Downtown Delary Beach provides this map for watch locations for the parade.
11. Delray Old School Square Park:
This 100 ft Christmas tree lights up downtown Delray Beach. It's been voted the best tree in the state of Florida by Travel & Leisure.
12. Palm Beach's Worth Ave:
The tree at 256 Worth Ave, lights up the shops on Worth Avenue. A great reason to get out on the island.
13. The Breakers:
The Breakers have some of the most elaborate Christmas decorations to enjoy on Palm Beach Island. I recommend going on a cloudy day when the waves are extra big and grabbing a drink at The Seafood Bar.
Going out and driving around looking at all the light displays put up by the town and my neighborhood Floridians really gets this New England gal in the mood for the Holidays despite the absence of cold weather and snow. Happy Holidays!
